AV Ministry
"This ministry is a blessing because it allows you to make use of your skills and talents or develop new skills and talents to serve our Lord and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. All it takes is a willing heart!" - Henry Gok
The A/V Ministry is an essential ministry serving in the background by using high tech equipment to make our worship services run smooth and glorifying to God. The A/V team members serve during Sunday worship services, fellowship meetings held in the Sanctuary or Fellowship Hall, or during special Church Events such as Christmas musical programs or church retreats.
Our primary needs are for A/V team members to serve during the 9:15 AM and 10:45 AM English Services. Each service has 3 positions: a sound and lighting person, a computer operator, and a backup person if a person doesn't show up or is late.
Sound and Lighting Person Responsibilities:
- Come to church about 20 minutes before service begins to set up the sound equipment and perform sound checks with the Praise/Worship Team
- Control the sound and lighting during the service
- Record the scripture reading and sermon on audio cassette tapes
Computer Operator Responsibilities:
- Come to church 20 minutes before service begins to turn on the video projectors and computer
- Load the Praise/Worship Team's slides and the Pastor's sermon slides on to the computer
- Control the Power Point slides during the worship service
Training will be provided!
