What a privilege you will have when you serve in the Preschool-Kindergarten Sunday School instilling the Word of God into the hearts of the children starting from their preschool age! With God's guidance, His wisdom and strength, we pray that you will be a great blessing to the children, and your serving will bring you tremendous blessings.

We have a preschool class for 2 & 3 year olds and a pre-K/Kindergarten class for 4 & 5 year olds. The activities in the classes include open play, bible stories, praise with songs, learning activities through games and activity pages as well as outside play in the playground.

Two ways you can get involved: (1) be a teacher (2) be a helper. Teachers will normally commit to teach a 3-month period. Helpers can help in the class on a monthly basis.

What do teachers do?

1. Conduct the class, prepare and teach the bible lessons using the pre-established curriculum.
2. Pray for the kids.
3. Be committed to spend time preparing lessons and the spiritual growth of the children.
4. Be nourished by God's Word.
5. Be aware of any allergies in the class.
6. Maintain contact with children who have been absent for a while.
7. Attend teachers' training.

What do the helpers do?
A Helper is simply being an extra helping hand for the teacher.

1. Greet children and make them feel welcome. Sit or play with them. Get to know them.
2. Assist the teacher in encouraging all children to participate in the program (listening to the bible story, singing and other activities).
3. Join the group for story time, singing, and other activities.
4. At snack time, help pass out wet napkins to clean their hands before eating and serve the refreshments so the teacher can sit with the children and guide their conversation.
5. Assist in taking the children to and from the restroom, when necessary, as well as in the playground and supervising their safety while playing.
6. Help the teacher clean up after class.
